Lance Bass Says He’s “Scared” As Twins Could Come “Any Day Now”

*NSYNC alum and soon-to-be-dad Lance Bass seems to have those pre-baby jitters, as he and husband Michael Turchin count down the days to the birth of their twins.

Bass and Turchin were in attendance at the 2021 VMA’s Sunday September 12th, where the singer told ET the nerves are real as they head towards their due date.

"I got twins on the way," Bass said. "They could come any day, which I'm kind of really scared about!”

The couple revealed that they were pregnant via surrogacy earlier this summer, and that they’re expecting a boy and a girl. Although the twins are due "in early November," Bass said he sort of hopes they arrive before the end of October.

"I need them to get here before Halloween, because I need them to be Halloween babies,” he smiled. “They have no choice but to love Halloween, because I'm obsessed, and they're going to be obsessed."

34-year-old Turchin and 42-year-old Bass were married in 2014. Back in June, Bass told People that it had been "quite the journey,” after at least four years of surrogacy attempts, failed IVF treatments, and a miscarriage of twins.

“Because of what we've been through the last four years, we were very cautious to get excited,” Bass said of their pregnancy. “And it kind of sucks because when you find out you're pregnant, you want to celebrate with your family."

Now that they’re coming to the end of their third trimester, Bass noted that his life is about to change pretty drastically.

“I won't be at the VMA's for the next 18 years," he joked.
