#GayDadWednesday: Chris, Clifton and Quinn

This week’s #GayDadWednesday follows a Californian family on a typical Sunday: Meet gay dad Chris, his boyfriend Clifton and Chris’s 10-year-old son Quinn aka #TheMightyQuinn.

7:05 a.m.

It’s not as easy to get Quinn out of bed now as it was when he was an infant or toddler. Most mornings require coaxing or dragging. Here Chris is trying to get Quinn up for Sunday morning karate class.

8:30 a.m.

There's no cereal for breakfast for this family on the weekends. Sometimes Chris (left) cooks, but on this occasion the family took the easier route and went to Whole Foods. Chris had been away for work all week so this family is excited for the day together after being apart!

10:00 a.m.

Karate time! Weekdays and weekends revolve around homework, after school sports, and karate for this family. #TheMightyQuinn has been in karate for three years and hopes to have his black belt by the summer. Karate time also means Dad-o and Clifton get to go to Starbucks next door.

1:30 p.m.

When you live in Santa Monica there’s always time for the beach, but there are many other great places to explore, too. Dad Chris, Clifton and Quinn decided to enjoy a quick walk around Shrine Lake, where they enjoy some peace, watch the fish and turtles, and admire the gardens.

3:00 p.m.

Sunday afternoon grocery shopping for the family dinner. #TheMightyQuinn likes racing through the store trying to pop a wheelie on the cart.

4:00 p.m.

Always a little time to play thunder dome with legos, wood blocks and cars. Their dog #CharlieGirl is up in the mix too.

7:50 p.m.

Bedtime for Quinn and the dads spend the rest of the night spending quality time together.
