Family vs. Group Homes for Foster Children
In this video explains the benefits of a family home instead of a group home for children in foster care.
All children thrive in the structure of a family. For those children that have special needs and might need special therapeutic services of a group home, of course we want them to get those services. But, for the most part children need the support, the individual attention, the individual activity and kinds of love and support that a family can provide that an institution simply cannot.
