There are many states that are good for surrogacy, there are only two where you have to avoid the state for gestational surrogacy. But, laws continue to evolve, Rhode Island just passed a law regarding surrogacy and New York is having a new law that will become effective in February of 2021. Reproductive lawyers are the best people to consult as laws are always changing and evolving. Your lawyer and/or your surrogacy agency will be looking to match you with a surrogate that is in a good state for you.
