What is respite care for foster parents?
In this video discusses what respite care is and how it is beneficial to foster parents.
Respite care is often available to families that are fostering and it provides and opportunity for the families to have a safe and structured place for their foster child to be when they may have a family emergency, when they need to go out of town, and when state rules apply that don't allow them to take that foster child with them. Respite care provides trained and well qualified parents that are often available for a break from fostering.
