From Founder Becky Snyder Fawcett: “In 2006, I set out to find an adoption grant organization to support, but couldn’t find one that matched my values. I wanted to see an organization that welcomed people of all races and all religions, that didn’t define what constituted a family, that supported people regardless of their marital status or sexual orientation.” Today, Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps build all kinds of families by awarding grants of up to $15,000. Last year, we awarded $600,000 in adoption grants. We have four cycles throughout the year; deadlines and award dates can be found on our website at www.helpuadopt.org/apply.
