In an interview with People Magazine, new dad Andy Cohen opens up about being a new dad, reveals the first pictures of his new born son, Benjamin, and talks about some of the people who helped him on his journey.
In the piece, Cohen reveals that at his 50th birthday party, he was also celebrating what he called "a going-away party." The Watch What Happens Live host, he announced, was going to be a parent, and he was preparing for the massive change to his childless life.
Cohen talks in the piece about some of his closest friends who helped support him on his path to parenthood. "Kelly Ripa helped me find my baby nurse, who's incredible," Cohen is quoted as saying in the piece. "Sarah Jessica sat with me for three hours on a Saturday and helped me do my registry. And she lent me clothes and burp cloths that she had saved from her kids. She labeled them all. She left me a big plastic container full of things that she knew I would need."
Cohen says he talked "almost daily" to Sarah Jessica Parker after he made the decision to become a parent. "We've talked almost daily since the decision [to have a baby] was made," the Sex and the City Star says in the article. "He's the kind of person who takes care of every detail immediately — very organized, very committed and loyal."
