2019 Shaping Up to Be a Big Year for Famous Gay Dads!

Over the last couple of weeks, Ricky Martin and Andy Cohen have each shared their exciting news via Instagram! And although Lance Bass isn't quite as close in his own journey to fatherhood, here's an update and 2019 is definitely looking bright for Lance and his husband Michael Turchin.

Congrats to Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef on the arrival of their baby daughter!

What better way to celebrate the first day of the new year than to announce that your family has grown! Ricky Martin and husband and artist Jwan Yosef shared a post via Instagram that they welcomed a baby girl into their family.

"We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef. It has been a special time for us and we cant wait to see where this stellar baby will take us. Both her beautiful brothers and me and Ricky have fallen in love with Lucia

Andy Cohen announced he's expected early in 2019!

Just days before Christmas, Andy Cohen, Bravo presenter and TV personality, announced that early in 2019, he's going to become a father via surrogacy.

We're so excited for Andy and to watch his fatherhood journey. To Andy: You got this!

Update: Lance Bass is still planning on becoming a dad this year!

Despite a not so straight forward surrogacy journey - the dads-to-be have been through 6 egg donors! - Lance and his husband Michael Turchin are still counting on becoming dads this year.

As reported by TheGayUK, Lance said, "We had several friends going through this and it took a little while but I think we've broken the record for how many donors we've gone through. We're on donor number six right now and we don't even know if that one's gonna work. So, it has been a lot longer than I thought. But, hey, here's to a 2019 baby!"
